Cue is a restaurant-and-bar project on Utrechtsestraat, but its listening bar is the sharpest part of the address. The room takes its cues from Japanese listening bars: vinyl-only sessions, handpicked records from selectors, custom speakers, cocktails, and small plates kept close to the music rather than layered over it. The hardware works more as a room than as a shopping list. Custom speakers and vinyl playback set the terms, while the experience stays social and Amsterdam-polished rather than reverential. This is listening-bar language translated into a modern restaurant setting. The social contract is also clearer than most. The listening bar is walk-in only, open Wednesday to Saturday evenings, and built around records, cocktails, and small plates rather than silent audiophile ceremony. Go expecting a stylish Amsterdam room with music in the foreground, not a strict no-talking temple.
