Drop Sociale is a Gemmayzeh audio bar built into one of the neighbourhood's old stone buildings, with Futomama operating as the Japanese food counter and late-night entry point. It is more social than purist, but music is not tucked into the corner: the DJ booth sits under a vaulted arch, beside a communal table, with a vinyl wall rising behind it. The room leans into its architecture. Stone walls, arches, raw metal, untreated wood and warm lighting give it a rougher Beirut texture than the usual polished listening-bar copybook. Public coverage points to the stone and arches helping the sound settle rather than slap around the room. Expect Japanese-inspired food, cocktails, vinyl-led nights and a backroom speakeasy energy as the evening gets later. This is not a silent album room, but it belongs on the looser side of ListenBars: social, design-led and built around the DJ booth rather than background playlists.
