Rhinoçéros

Established in 2017, Rhinoceros is a tiny, precise slice of Japanese jazz bar kissa culture transported to Berlin. The room pairs classic cocktails and wine with an entirely jazz-focused vinyl collection, played through spectacular vintage Altec Lansing Voice of the Theatre A7 speakers. The system is built around Altec Lansing A7 speakers, Thöress amplification and phono equalization, and a Micro-Seiki DQX-500 turntable with Audio-Technica VM cartridges. The experience is deliberately hushed and intimate: small groups, low voices, no phone calls, and no photography.
