Regarded as something of an open secret in Bangkok, Ramkhamhaeng is smaller and quieter. That makes it an easier shopping experience though, and it's mostly locals that enjoy the food and atmosphere (which might hint at why prices can be a little cheaper at Ramkhamhaeng).
